Longgang Baohai Fish Cake can trace back to the Shang and Zhou dynasties (B.C. 1600 – B.C. 256),where people residing at the seaside made a living by fishing.In the long course of development, the dish gradually became a folk tradition.In 2019, Longgang Baohai Fish Cake was approved as an intangible cultural heritage protection project of Longgang.Since then,the Fish Cake has been a famous snack in Zhejiang.
