Yanwo Ancient Fortress

Yanwo Ancient Fortress, oncea beacon tower used to resist Japanese piratesduring the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), is located in modern-day Yanting township, Cangnan county, Wenzhou, East China’s Zhejiang province. This ancient military facility will take a new look after renovation and upgrading.

The ancient fortress will be a good place where people can study, relax and go sightseeing after the reconstruction project wraps up. Here is a photo of the fortress under construction.
