Runners eager to test their skills in Wenzhou Marathon

The Wenzhou sports bureau announced that the confirmation platform for participation in this year's Wenzhou Marathon opened at 10 am on Feb 7.

The channel for registration of more participants will open three days later, at 10 am on Feb 10.

It has been two years since the event was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year's event will kick off at 8 am on March 19, which is widely marked by local residents as"a golden time of the year" due to the agreeable climate.

There will be 5,000 people partaking in the 42.195-kilometer full marathon, 8,000 people in the 21.0975-km half marathon, and 5,000 people in the 5-km Fun Run edition.
