Tianjin to host vocational skills competition with 109 events
China’s 2nd Vocational Skills Competition will be held from Sept 16-19 in Tianjin, according to a news conference on Tuesday.
Organized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the three-day competition will cover 109 events, including 63 contests for selecting participants to the 47th World Skills Competition.
So far, more than 4,000 individuals have registered for the competition, way more than the number of participants in the first session held in Guangzhou, Guangdong province in 2020.
The competition aims to present the nation’s systems for training, evaluating and motivating workers, and offers a good platform for workers to show their skills and talent.
