Tianjin promotes investment environment in Singapore

The Tianjin （Singapore） Investment Environment Promotion Conference was held in Singapore on Feb 17．

A total of 16 projects were inked during the event， involving a total investment of 2．95 billion yuan （＄430．11 million）． Among them， 15 projects will be nestled in Binhai New Area， including the China－Singapore Tianjin Eco－City， the TEDA and Tianjin Port． Binhai New Area has spotlighted the event thanks to its attractive investment climate．

Zhu Peng， deputy mayor of Tianjin， said that， as a modern and open international port city， Tianjin has gathered high－end industries and embraces promising prospects and development opportunities．

Sun Haiyan， Chinese Ambassador to Singapore， noted that the governments of China and Singapore have cooperated in building the Sino－Singapore Tianjin Eco－City for the past 15 years． Over the years， Tianjin has established rich ties with Singapore and has secured an edge in new cooperation． At present， Tianjin enjoys important development momentum， such as the regional development of the Beijing－Tianjin－Hebei region， and delivers hopes for more Singapore companies to invest and develop in the metropolis．
