Thailand Luban Workshop
The world's first Luban Workshop was unveiled in Thailand on March 8, 2016, sponsored by the Tianjin Bohai Vocational Technical College and Thailand Ayutthaya Technical College.

In 2018, Tianjin Railway Technical and Vocational College joined the third phase of its construction, forming a constructing model of one workshop with two centers --"Bohai Center" and"Railway Academy Center".

In October 2021, the Thailand Luban Workshop opened after passing the evaluation.
The workshop covers a building area of 2,000 square meters, with a total of 15 teaching practice areas. Among them, the Bohai Center and Thailand have jointly built a Practice and Development Base for overseas teachers and students, and built three high-end platforms, including EPIP International Education Alliance, EPIP Teaching Research Center, and Sino-Thai Vocational Education Research Center. The Railway Academy Center has built three teaching areas and one R&D area of skills competition, including China high-speed train CRH380B, train operation control system CTCS, and"Classroom in the Air", a livestreaming course platform.
In January 2020, the Tianjin Railway Technical and Vocational College holds the first Thailand Railway Transportation System Invitational Competition. The students of Railway Academy Center win the championship. [Photo provided to tianjinchinadaily.com.cn]
Six majors offered by the workshop have all been certified by the Thailand Vocational Education Commission, with a cumulative exchange training of more than 8,000 students and more than 500 teachers.

Students from the workshop have won many awards in the ASEAN Skills Competition. Mr Jarun Youbrum, former dean of Thailand Ayutthaya Technical College, won the"2020 Tianjin Haihe Friendship Award". Tianjin Bohai Vocational Technical College was awarded Thailand's Princess Sirindhom Award and Thailand Ayutthaya Technical College, the highest award given by the Thai royal family.
