Bank of China Shaanxi Branch provided financial support
for the 14th China - U.S. Tourism Leadership Summit

On May 22, the 14th China - U.S. Tourism Leadership Summit opened in Xi’an, Shaanxi province. As a strategic partner of the summit, Bank of China gave full play to its professional advantages in global services and cross-border finance. Bank of China Shaanxi Branch shored up efforts to guarantee financial service quality, providing thoughtful, professional and friendly financial services to domestic and foreign guests.

During the conference, Bank of China Shaanxi Branch rolled out a slew of financial services such as foreign currency exchange, credit card payment on mobile terminals, ATM cash withdrawal, financial consultation and guidance, etc. According to information, the bank specially established a team of financial service personnel with fluent oral English and excellent professional skills to work at the service center so as to facilitate the financial service. Besides, the bank set up a financial service zone in Xi’an International Convention Center, which was equipped with a number of POS machines and ATM machines accepting overseas bank cards. Service specialists were also arranged properly to safeguard the normal operation of machinery and to ensure all business transactions. In addition, booklets named ‘Financial Service Guide of Bank of China’ in Chinese and English version are provided for guests. During the summit, 138 Bank of China outlets in Xi’an city synchronously performed financial services and payment facilitation work.

It is worth mentioning that under the support and guidance of the People's Bank of China Shaanxi Branch, BOC Shaanxi Branch took the lead in reporting and displaying the overall progress of payment facilitation in the province, relying on special exhibition booths at the main venue of Xi’an International Convention Center and the Foreign Guest Payment Service Center in Xi’an Xianyang International Airport respectively. The two-point, bi-angle presentation exhibited the phased results that Shaanxi has achieved in terms of the optimization and the facilitation of payment service.(Xudan)
