Xi'an Qujiang New District Continuing to Focus on Deep Integration of Digital
Economy and Cultural Tourism

In recent years, policies such as the Measures to Promote the High-Quality Development of the Digital Economy in Qujiang New District and the Work Plan for the Development of Emerging Industries and the Digital Economy in Qujiang New District have been successively introduced by Qujiang New District in Xi’an, providing strong support for the intelligent transformation of the cultural tourism industry through digitization.

At the Qujiang New District Digital Economy Development Conference, the Qujiang Esports Industry Park, Qujiang Up Way Street, Qujiang 369 Internet Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base, Qujiang Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park, and Zhicheng Cross-Border E-commerce Industrial Park were successfully awarded as the first batch of demonstration industrial parks for the digital economy. This marks the entry of Qujiang's digital economy development into a stage of interconnected parks and clustered development.

Among them, esports, as a popular track, aligns well with Qujiang New District. The unique tourism resources of Qujiang, combined with the allure of esports, create a mutually reinforcing environment.

In recent years, Qujiang New District has effectively leveraged its national-level cultural technology integration demonstration base and innovation-driven role, strengthening the synergy between cultural and technological industries and promoting the upgradation of the cultural technology industry in multiple dimensions.

Currently, a total of 9 major categories, 23 distinctive industrial parks, and 1 cultural and artistic block have been formed, covering a wide range of fields such as cultural creativity, cultural technology, film and television, new media, popular science, esports, architectural design, and many others.

Simultaneously, efforts are actively made to empower traditional cultural industries with technology, and enhance the active integration into the Qinchuangyuan Platform in Shaanxi Province. As a result, the application for the "incubator" in the three instruments of Qinchuangyuan has been successfully approved, which has become a characteristic window for the Qinchuangyuan construction of "cultural technology" in Shaanxi Province. The five major digital economy demonstration industrial parks have become a new stage for Qujiang New District to integrate, innovate, attract attention, gather wisdom, and promote industrial development.

As for the support of the expansion and strengthening of economic entities, the focus is on the entire process of digital economy enterprise registration and settlement, providing increased operating cost subsidies and business incentives. Support is given to a group of digital economy enterprises to grow stronger, gather for development, help the interconnection and clustering of digital economy enterprises, and comprehensively enhance the park-level and clustering level of digital economic development.

In terms of factor guarantee, a one-billion-yuan Qujiang New District Digital Economy Industrial Guidance Fund has been established to guide various capital investments in the digital economy industry for capital attraction, industry development, and supporting construction in the digital economy industry chain.

Meanwhile, support is provided in areas such as seeking funding for digital economy enterprises, intellectual property pledge financing, and innovation and entrepreneurship by talents, further boosting the high-quality development of digital economy enterprises.

Qujiang New District accelerates the cultural and tourism transformation of its digital industries and the digitization of its cultural and tourism industries. In the meantime, its "cloud" push not only achieves deep integration with Qujiang cultural industries, but is also expected to play a role in industrial development by boosting the radiating effects and driving forces of the digital economy.
