The Gansu-Qingyang Qi-Huang Cultural Forum was Successfully Convened

On the morning of October 14th, the Qi-Huang Culture Forum was held in Qingyang，Gansu Province.

The term "Qi-Huang" refers to Huangdi and Qi Bo, who are the ancestors of traditional Chinese medicine. Ancient medical books were often written using the names Huangdi and Qibo, but later on, "Qi-Huang" came to be used as a proxy for traditional Chinese medicine. While "Qi-Huang" is associated with medicine, it actually specifically refers to the Huangdi Neijing and its author.

At this forum, industry experts and scholars gathered to exchange the inheritance and innovation of traditional Chinese medicine culture, as well as to seek cooperation and development in the field of traditional Chinese medicine healthcare industry.

"Qingyang is dedicated to establishing a unique cultural identity and promoting the profound essence of Qi-Huang culture, which holds great significance in the present time." stated Huang Zeyuan, Secretary of the Qingyang Municipal Party Committee.

This culture forum consists of six parts, namely a thematic calligraphy and painting exhibition; one main forum and four sub-forums; thematic interviews; paying homage to Qibo (a legendary figure in traditional Chinese medicine); business activities; and free medical consultations by renowned doctors.

Last but not least，The Gansu-Qingyang Qi-Huang Cultural Forum held an investment promotion and signing ceremony, showcasing the achievements of Qingyang's Qihuang cultural inheritance and development. It comprehensively promoted key investment projects in traditional Chinese medicine, with a focus on areas such as medicinal plant cultivation and herbal production. A total of 9 projects were signed on-site, with a combined investment totaling 649 million yuan.（Lulu Mu）
