Qingyang Apple Promotion Conference Signed 1.847 Billion Yuan

In September, the fragrance of apples arefilling the autumn air. The Apple promotion conference was held on September 27 at the Zhengyang Apple Park Tourism scenic spot in Zhongcun Town, ZhengNing County.

At this promotional meeting, 18 purchase and sales agreements for Qingyang Apples were signed on the spot, ordering a total of 208,000 tons with a value of 1.847 billion yuan.

Leaders and distinguished guests in attendance include Huang Zeyuan, Secretary of the CPC Qingyang Municipal Committee; Wu Hong'an, Deputy Inspector of Gansu Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs; as well as the Secretary-General of China Brand Building Promotion Association under the State Administration for Market Regulation, and Han Xueshan, Vice President and Executive Secretary-General of China Packaging Federation.

It is reported that Qingyang, located between 35°14′28″ and 37°9′13″ north latitude, has a mild climate with moderate rainfall and abundant sunshine. The significant temperature difference between day and night makes it highly suitable for apple cultivation. Because of theweather，Qingyang apples are large, with a tall and sleek appearance, smooth surface, vibrant color, abundant nutrients, a balanced sweet and sour taste, and a rich flavor. They are highly recognized in the market and favored by consumers.

In recent years, the Party Committee and Government of Qingyang City have regarded the apple industry as a distinctive advantage for increasing income and improving livelihoods. They have actively promoted eight key technologies, including standardized orchard construction, tree-shaped cultivation, flower and fruit management, green prevention and control of diseases and pests, as well as cost-saving measures to increase efficiency. At the same time, they have introduced excellent rootstock varieties and dwarf planting techniques along with more than 20 new varieties such as "Ruiyang," "Ruixue," "Qin Cui," and "Venus Gold." Additionally, they have established the country's largest dwarf planting apple base and a center for breeding virus-free seedlings. The Ministry of Agriculture has designated six counties in this city as national key apple production areas while identifying 69 townships as key apple production townships.

During the promotion conference, contracts were signed for the "Futures + Insurance" project in 2023 and Apple's storage loan. Financial institutions granted loans of 36 million yuan to relevant fruit industry enterprises and extended a credit line of 3.5 billion yuan to the Qingyang Apple Production and Marketing Association. On the same day, the inaugural ceremony for Qingyang Apple's promotion was held, with Qingyang Apples being sold nationwide through online platforms such as JD.com, Tmall, Taobao, and Douyin.（Lulu Mu）
