The Second Cultural Tourism Festival of "Huaer Linxia by the River" Held
in June

On April 19th, it was announced during a press conference held by the Gansu Provincial Government Information Office that the second Cultural Tourism Festival of "Huaer Linxia by the River" will be held in mid-June at the Songmingyan Scenic Area in Hezheng County, Linxia Prefecture.

The second Cultural Tourism Festival of "Huaer in Linxia by the River" in Linxia Prefecture will feature more than 90 activities under 14 brands. The festival includes the opening ceremony, the China Huaer Congress, the "Civilization Convergence and Glorious Hezhou" Prehistoric Culture Linxia Forum, major sports events in Linxia Prefecture in 2023, the "Hezhou Flavor and Linxia Cuisine" food appreciation event, and six prefecture-level activities celebrating the Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival. In addition, there will be brand activities organized by eight counties and cities: Linxia City's Hezhou Peony Carnival, Dongxiang County's Dongxiang Ethnic Cultural Tourism activities, Yongjing County's "Blue Yellow River and Sunshine Yongjing" cultural tourism events, Hezheng County's 8th Plateau Pear and Rapeseed Flower Cultural Tourism events, Linxia County's "Poetic Countryside and Virtual Tour of Hezhou" agricultural sightseeing and picking cultural tourism activities, Guanghe County's "Guangtong River Night" cultural events, Jishishan County's Bao'an Ethnic Cultural Tourism events, and Kangle County's Lianhua Mountain Huaer Cultural Art Tourism events. The main activities, including the opening ceremony, will be held in Hezheng County in June, while the individual activities will take place throughout the year in various counties and cities.

In recent years, Linxia Prefecture has identified the cultural and tourism industry as its primary industry and has been meticulously developing it. It has tapped into the abundant resources and characteristics of the "Ten Features of Linxia" to establish the distinctive brand of "Lanzhou's Back Garden". In the first quarter of this year, Linxia Prefecture received a total of 3.904 million visits and achieved a comprehensive tourism revenue of 1.76 billion yuan, making a head start to the year.
