among the Top Ten Counties

In 2021, Xingping City, Xianyang ranked first among the Top Ten Counties and second among the Leading Industrial Counties with high-quality development in Shaanxi Province.

As a private enterprise that has developed and formed a first-class scientific and technological R&D system and independent innovation system in the domestic seal industry, Shaanxi Fenghang Technology Co., Ltd. (Shaanxi Fenghang) makes greater efforts to its independent innovation and R&D efforts after years of exploration, forming a new pattern integrating production, education and research and drawing on strengths of domestic and foreign markets.

According to Zhang Ning, deputy general manager of Shaanxi Fenghang, relying on scientific and technological progress and independent innovation, the company has been equipped with a comprehensive capacity of producing and selling more than 100 million seals, 800,000 switches and 150,000 casting products annually, and owns more than 60 utility model patents.

For innovation and development, Shaanxi Fenghang closely tracks the cutting-edge technology of global auto parts, steps up developing high-end technology, product automation, market diversification, energy conservation and environmental protection. Acting up to the strategy of "going global and bringing in", it establishes Fenghang R&D Center in Detroit, USA, opening a window for its global development practices.

To make the first breakthrough in industrial technologies such as high-end equipment manufacturing and green food, Xingping City encourages local enterprises and well-known universities to jointly build scientific research platforms and R&D centers by the mechanism of "bellwether".

In March 2022, the Industry and Information Technology Department of Shaanxi Province issued Document No.48 about "bellwether" on the industrialization of key core technologies. Shaanxi Red October Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shaanxi Red October") acted positively and was selected as a key player in technology transformation by the experts. Its efforts solved the technical difficulties that make containment on the heavy truck industry chain in Shaanxi Province and successfully localized key core technologies.

Shaanxi is a major province of automobile manufacturing and rich coal resources. As the only first-class agent of petroleum additives for CNPC in five northwestern provinces, Shaanxi Red October has successfully developed long-life gear oil products with abundant resources of coal-based base oil. The life of gear oil for commercial heavy trucks, at 60,000-100,000 kilometers traditionally, has been extended to 300,000 kilometers by more than three times, successfully replacing the long-life gear oil products imported from abroad.

In 2019, Shaanxi Ruisen Metallic Composite Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Ruisen Metal"), mastering more than 20 patented technologies, was recruited and settled in Xingping City. Its explosive composite technology takes the lead in China, and its friction welding product technology makes it the first private enterprise in Northwest China. Ruisen Metal has established in-depth R&D cooperation with Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an University of Technology, Northwest Institute for Non-Ferrous Metal Research and other universities and research institutes, and jointly built a Light Metal Explosive Composite Engineering Technology Research Center with Xi'an Aeronautical Institute to customize supporting products for military enterprises such as 210 Division of CASIC-6, AVIC and Xi'an AERO-Engine (Group) Ltd.
