Beijing still seeking first win in Chinese Women's Volleyball Super League

Beijing is still seeking its first win in the 2021-2022 Chinese Women's Volleyball Super League, after it lost 3-2 (25-23, 19-25, 27-29, 25-19, 15-6) to Zhejiang on Wednesday.

Jin Ye claimed a game-high of 24 points for Beijing, but it was not enough for the 2018-2019 season's champion to extend a 2-1 lead to an eventual victory.

Zhu Yuezhou led Zhejiang with 21 points.

Hebei had the similar fate with Beijing as it suffered the tenth consecutive defeat after a 3-0 (25-14, 26-24, 25-14) setback to Shenzhen.

Also on Wednesday, Fujian saw off Sichuan 3-1 (25-22, 25-17, 23-25, 25-12) while Yunnan edged Henan 3-2 (24-26, 25-23, 22-25, 25-23, 17-15).
