Surrounding a 260-meter-high heat absorption tower are 12,000 heliostats. Through remote control, the heliostats with different tilting angles reflect sunlight to the heat absorption tower, and store heat through molten salt in the tower to push the steam turbine to generate electricity.

Equipped with an 11-hour molten salt heat storage system, the project was connected to the grid for power generation on December 28, 2018, which can generate electricity continuously for 24 hours. Its designed annual power generation reaches 390 million kWh, which can reduce carbon dioxide by 350,000 tons every year and release environmental benefits equivalent to a 10,000-mu forest.
