Morocco climbs 9 places in FIFA world rankings

Morocco has moved nine places up in the latest FIFA world ranking released on Thursday.

The North African country climbed up from the 41st position to the 32nd, after gaining 9 points to increase its points build-up from 1,479 to 1,488 points.

The Atlas Lions are now occupying the fourth position in the continental pecking order behind Senegal (21st), Tunisia (28th), and Algeria (30th).

Once again, Belgium is on top, followed by Brazil, France, England, Italy and Argentina.

Spain, Portugal, Mexico and the United States complete the FIFA top 10.
