The First "Completing One Thing at One Time" Service was Realized in Only 8
Working Days by the XDZ
From the application submission to the notification of documents being ready for collection, it took the Xi'an High-tech Industries Development Zone (XDZ) Administrative Examination and Approval Service Bureau only 8 working days to process the work permit and the residence permit of the newly hired Korean expert of 5DnBIM Technology Co. Ltd. This is also the first case delivered by XDZ after it recently launched the streamlined service for foreigners in China under the initiative of "Completing One Thing at One Time".
According to the staff of the bureau, recently they received a phone call from 5DnBIM Technology, a Samsung supplier. The company informed that they planned to hire a Korean expert for technical services as needed for business development. At that moment, the South Korean expert to be employed already held a work visa, but needed to obtain the work permit and the residence permit as soon as possible. Afterwards, the staff presented to the company the "Completing One Thing at One Time" service recently launched by XDZ for foreigners in China. The staff then assisted the company in preparing application materials and instructed them on the online submission of the materials. Thanks to the integrated operations among various government departments, the Korean expert finally obtained his work and residence permits 8 days later.
As informed, this newly launched service service has enabled one-stop processing and one-body service for foreigners to obtain work permits and residence permits of China via "information sharing, department linkage and business integration". This not only effectively solves the problem for foreigners who had to attend multiple government departments, endure long processing time and submit repeated materials, but also greatly enhances operational efficiency. According to relevant regulations, foreigners applying for the "Completing One Thing at One Time" service to work in China should be at least 18 years old, healthy, have no criminal record, have a definite employer in China, and have the necessary professional skills or corresponding knowledge level for their work. The work of the applicant shall meet the needs of China's economic and social developments and such applicant shall fit the category of urgently needed professionals in China. These requirements apply unless otherwise specified by the law. (Peng Changdi Correspondent Yang Hao Lu Wei)
