Jinghe New City: The Only Fu Tea Museum in China Presenting
the Thousand-Year Fu Tea Culture on the Silk Road

Chinese Fu tea was originated in Jingyang more than 1000 years ago. It was exported northwestward along the Jing River and arrived at Rome after thousands of miles. So the mysterious tea on the Silk Road was sold far to the northwest, Central Asia and Europe. A saying goes well, "It is better to have no food for three days than to have no tea for one day." Jingyang Fu tea, which has a very high production technology, can help digest food and ease appetite, so it has been popular for a thousand years.

Unlike common single-story museum, it has three floors. The first floor is the Fu Tea Culture Museum and Fu Tea Banquet Restaurant, which shows the historical origin, tea-making process and product sales of Fu Tea, and tells the status of Fu Tea in the history of tea culture to excavate and display the history of Fu Tea.

The second floor is the space for performing arts of Fu tea culture, including the theme theater which can accommodate 200 people, a diner and characteristic shops, which create an immersive experience. As the core display area, the first floor is composed of seven sections: Fu Tea Origins, Thousand-Year Ancestors, Fragrance of the Silk Road, Tea Making Technology, Mystery of Golden Flowers, Shaanxi Tea Merchants, and Fu Tea Dream. Fu tea Origins tell the legendary story of Shennong's "Tasting Hundreds of Herbs to Find Tea"; the Fragrance of the Silk Road shows the function of Fu brick tea on the ancient Silk Road by dynamic oil painting projection, and the exhibition areas of Mystery of Golden Flowers project the "Tea Elf" to display the origin of "Golden Flowers" in Fu tea.

In addition, the three tea cellars in the museum have created the first "Fu Cellar" industry in China, with a storage of about 30 tons of quality Fu tea. As one of the key projects of the museum, the constant temperature and humidity storage space enhances the cultural value and collection value of Fu tea, and can make Fu tea Museum into the saloon of Shaanxi tea culture and the experience site of the source of Chinese Fu tea culture.
