On June 17, a special exhibition on fighting against COVID-19 was inaugurated in Sichuan Museum. The exhibition is open to public free of charge until July 15. In addition to offline visits, the public can also visit the exhibition hall online.

The exhibition is divided into four units, i.e., "following orders and forming precise policies", "great doctors carry forward their fight despite the heavy load", "all on the same boat" and "striving to win double battles”.

In the exhibition, a group of ‘made in Sichuan’ nucleic acid detection kits and traditional Chinese medicine preparations were popular with visitors. Two new coronavirus detection kits were developed by Sichuan enterprises and hospitals after the outbreak. One of the nucleic acid detection kits on display can complete 96 tests within two hours and the products have been sold to more than 30 countries such as Italy and Germany; the other "respiratory virus nucleic acid detection kit" can complete the rapid detection of six respiratory viruses including new coronavirus within an hour and a half.

On June 16, the blind state review and phase Unblinding meeting of phase I / II clinical trial of new coronavirus inactivated vaccine developed by Wuhan Institute of Biological Products of Sinopharm Group Co., Ltd. was held in Beijing and Henan simultaneously. The results of unblinding showed that the vaccine was safe and no serious adverse reaction was noticed. After vaccination in different procedures and doses, all vaccinators in the vaccine group produced high titer antibody. After two doses of vaccination in 28 days, the positive conversion rate of neutralizing antibody reached 100%. At present, China is actively promoting overseas cooperation for phase III of the clinical trials and has received intent of cooperation from enterprises and institutions in many countries.
