The cargo throughput of the Ezhou Huahu Airport passed the 100,000-tonne milestone as a Boeing 767 all-cargo freighter owned by SF Airlines headed for Changsha took off on October 17, 2023.
The airport opened its domestic cargo route on November 27, 2022 and its first international cargo route on April 1, 2023. Currently, ithas opened 44 domestic cargo routes and seven international cargo routes, building up a network that covers Asia and extends to Europe and America.
Meanwhile, as Asia’s largest super transfer center, the SF transfer center was officially put into use. With a floor area of about 750,000 square meters, it can handle 280,000 parcels per hour. Famous enterprises from home and abroad have moved in, including Apple, Bosch, Yusen Logistics, Sinotrans, etc.
The international cargo throughput of the airport hit the first 10,000-tonne mark in four months and the second in less than two months. Focusing on its advantageous functions, Ezhou and the Ezhou Airport Economic Zone are stepping up the construction of the port, introduced an official fromthe Ezhou municipal government.
