On the occasion of the 10th French-Chinese Environment Month (MFCE), exhibitions, workshops, roundtable meetings and fairs have been scheduled in Hunan, Hubei and Jiangxi provinces throughout October, aiming to share views on our lifestyles, work, consumption and production.
Starting from September 27, 14 events have been organizing in China’s central regions to focus on protecting and managing water resources, preserving soils, finding solutions for environmental remediation, promoting biodiversity and saving critically endangered species, promoting the circular economy and fighting against waste.
MFCE has has been highly recognized by the Chinese public and institutions during its ten years of existence. In addition to high-level lectures, youth-oriented workshops and exchanges among professionals, MFCE also has adopted art, films and literature to deepen the public's understanding of the importance of protecting the environment and promote cooperation and exchanges between China and France in this field.
In 2022, the 9th MFCE featured 146 events in 28 Chinese cities and gathered nearly 424,400 spectators and more than 331,884 online audiences, including nearly 66,000 participants from central China. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
