Hubei's 49 scientists listed among academician candidates

The Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) announced on Thursdaythe candidates of CAS and CAE academicians, of which 49 scientistsfrom Hubeiwere on the list.

There were583 candidates for the 2023 CASacademicians,including 24 scientistsfrom Hubei.And655 candidates for the CAEacademicianswere released, 25 of them wereHubei scientists.

At present, Hubei boasts75 CAS and CAE academicians - China's highest national academic titles in science and engineering, and a lifelong honor.(en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei）
