中國精神——夥伴精神

2019年6月28日，習近平總書記出席G20大阪峰會

On June 28, 2019, General Secretary Xi Jinping attended the G20 Osaka Summit

併發表重要講話，

and delivered an important speech,

強調要堅持夥伴精神，

He urged the G20 members to uphold the spirit of partnership,

妥善處理分歧。

and properly address differences.

“和”是中國傳統文化的靈魂，

Harmony is the soul of traditional Chinese culture,

“以和為貴”的精神深植于我們的民族基因，

The idea of “peace being precious” is deeply rooted in our national genes,

延續於今天的行動。

and inherited in today's actions.

進入全球化時代，

In the era of globalization,

中國始終堅持同舟共濟、合作共贏的夥伴精神，

China always adheres to the spirit of partnership featuring mutual support and win-win cooperation,

致力於推動構建人類命運共同體。

and is committed to building a community of a shared future for mankind.

從提出“一帶一路”倡議，

By proposing Belt and Road Initiative,

讓更多國家和地區融入經濟全球化，

to involve more countries and regions in economic globalization,

到提出共商共建共用的全球治理觀，

and putting forward a vision of global governance featuring extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits,

推動建設相互尊重、公平正義、合作共贏的新型國際關係，

to promote the construction of a new type of international relations of mutual respect, fairness, justice and win-win cooperation,

中國不斷貢獻中國智慧和力量，

China has continuously contributed its wisdom and strength,

堅持以實際行動促進世界的和平、穩定與發展。

and taken practical actions to promote world peace, stability and development. 

弘揚夥伴精神，具體而言

Specifically, to carry forward the spirit of partnership means that

就是要在對外交往中特別是遭遇分歧時

in foreign exchanges, especially when encountering differences,

要採取平等協商、

we need to engage in consultation as equals,

求同存異、管控分歧、擴大共識的立場，

manage differences while seeking common ground, and build greater consensus,

這既是對外交形式的要求，也是對外交實質的要求。

This is the requirement for both the form and the substance of diplomacy.

形式上，應當遵循國家不論大小一律平等、

In form, we should follow the principle that all countries, big or small, are equal

一律歡迎參與合作的原則，

and welcome to participate in cooperation,

不以大欺小，

The big should not bully the small,

也不搞排他性的小陣營或者聯盟。

No exclusive small camp or alliance should exist.

實質上，更應當認識到

In substance, we should more recognize that

隨著世界經濟的加速發展和一體化，

with the accelerated development and integration of the world economy,

只有涵蓋全世界範圍的利益共同體、責任共同體和命運共同體，

only a community of shared interests, responsibilities and future covering the whole world

才是世界發展的根本潮流，

can be the fundamental trend of world development.

因此各國應當致力於擴大共同利益，

Therefore, countries should strive to expand their common interests,

不斷擴大而不是縮小“朋友圈”。

and enlarge rather than narrow the "circle of friends".

一花獨放不是春，

A single flower does not make spring,

百花齊放春滿園。

while one hundred flowers in full blossom bring spring to the garden.

各國應以誠信增進互信，

Countries should enhance mutual trust in good faith,

以共識消除分歧，

eliminate differences through consensus,

以合作促進共贏，

and promote win-win cooperation,

共同建設一個持久和平、普遍安全、

so as to jointly build a world of lasting peace, universal security,

共同繁榮、開放包容的世界。

common prosperity, openness and inclusiveness.
