《Sing For China》

近日，摩登天空推出了一張由全球44組知名音樂人參與其中的公益合輯唱片《Sing For
China》，全部收益將捐獻給“中國艾滋病孤兒基金會”(CAOF)。摩登天空創始人沈黎暉特邀約翰列儂遺孀、著名音樂家小野洋子(Yoko
Ono)參與其中，併為本合輯專門創作並錄製了一支全新單曲《We Are Dying》。
2007年初，沈黎暉攜手張亞東、方文山共同發起了旨在以音樂和愛的力量幫助失聰兒童重返有聲世界的“回聲”慈善行動，並由此發起“回聲”兒童基金。沈黎暉曾經説過：“我們一直活在自己的世界裏，過去覺得慈善還離我很遠，但是行動是最重要的。身為音樂人，我應該為那些需要幫助的人做點什麼，希望現在開始做這些不會太晚。”2008年，沈黎暉決定邀請全球知名音樂家製作一張旨在為中國的艾滋病孤兒提供更多協助的《Sing
For
China》合輯，得到小野洋子在內的眾多音樂家的響應，並最終歷時近兩年時間完成。上次沈黎暉去紐約的時候，76歲的小野洋子正在錄音棚錄製這首《We
Are Dying》。
“Sing For
China”，是由摩登天空和美國公益組織“中國艾滋病孤兒基金會”(CAOF)合作的一項公益計劃，旨在為中國的艾滋病孤兒提供教育、宣傳、醫療以及更多協助。《Sing
For China》合輯是一項跨越國界的合作，是一次文化影響社會的公益之舉，這張3CD合輯唱片歷時兩年時間製作完成，集結了Yoko
Ono、Deerhoof、Cold Cut、Ratatat、The Apples In
Stereo、新褲子、後海大鯊魚等44組全球不同國家的著名搖滾、電子音樂家跨國界合作。而專輯所得收入將全部捐獻給“中國艾滋病孤兒基金會”。無論是從《Sing
For China》所收錄曲目的音樂性，還是從其社會意義來看，這都將是一套會留在歷史上的合輯唱片。
沈黎暉表示，感謝所有參與這張公益唱片的全球44組音樂家，並特意感謝了摩登天空美國公司經理Michael J.
LoJudice為這張唱片所作出的努力。據“中國艾滋病孤兒基金會”(CAOF)表示，“HIV/AIDS是毀滅性的疾病。沒有了治療，被感染人只能毫無抵抗地承受緩慢而痛苦的死亡，同時，在中國，病人還要背負讓人痛苦的恥辱。《Sing
For China》項目致力於：1、為HIV/AIDS籌取基金；2、在中國宣傳對艾滋病人的寬容與耐心。”
