禪宗史上著名的吃茶公案中,趙州和尚三問:“曾到此間否?”此間即是當下,此間即是日常用事,此間即是人間。
藝術是一種意識形態,它必然要反映我們的現實生活。中國水墨發展到今天,已經分為傳統水墨與當代水墨兩大體系。中國傳統水墨大多遠離現實生活,往往寄情于山水之間,而當代水墨則是借助西方的藝術語言和觀念,直指當下,反映當下的社會狀態和思緒。傳統水墨與當代水墨兩者之間雖然一度水火不相容,但實際上近年來已有相互學習融合的一種趨勢。
本次大般若藝術基金會主辦的“中國當代水墨名家邀請展”,所邀請的5位藝術家,都是中國美術界頗具影響力的當代水墨藝術家。
秦風是哈佛大學有史以來第一位當代藝術研究員,同時也是大英博物館首位收藏中國當代水墨作品的藝術家。他的作品大多帶有一些隱喻性的神秘色彩,層出不窮的創作靈感無一不指向內心,其作品中幾乎看不到任何具象的人物、山水和都市風情等,而這正好暗合了禪宗的理論——直指人心,見性成佛。
王利豐是當代中國抽象藝術的先行者之一,他的作品以綜合材料著稱,近期他的作品首次以中國傳統的宣紙作為繪畫材料,濃郁的古典潑彩技法與當代的藝術觀念給人一種耳目一新的感覺。
堆積則是呂鵬作品語言中最鮮明的特點。他的幾乎每一幅作品,都形象地把握了中國人普遍的一種生存感覺,體現出一種遊戲和滑稽的關係,他認為中國人所謂的文化,其實只是一些文化的碎片。
“和樂的仙居世界”是梁長勝創作的永恒主題,他採用中國傳統的線描技法為世人堆砌出一個自己臆造的神秘的世界。他試圖在各種紛繁複雜的世界裏尋找自己的精神家園,他的作品匪夷所思,為我們展現了當代中國最高超的線描技法。
與很多藝術家不一樣,李道柳是當代藝術領域最早意識到應該俯身學習傳統藝術的藝術家之一。在鼓吹當代藝術多年後,他發現越靠近西方的當代藝術其實離自己的內心越遠,於是他重新回到東方傳統,自此一發不可收拾,陸續創作出一批富有古意和禪趣的作品。他的作品往往給人以靜穆的感覺,我們可以從其作品中看到浮躁熱鬧後面已經離我們漸行漸遠的深層次的文化記憶。

Exhibition Introduction
The famous Zen koan in the history of tea, Zhao monk three asked: "have been here?" Here is the moment, here is everything in a day, here is the world.
Art is a kind of ideology, it is bound to reflect our real life. Chinese ink painting development to today, has been divided into two system, traditional ink painting and contemporary ink. Chinese traditional ink painting are far from the real life, often focused on the mountains and rivers, and the contemporary ink painting is through the western artistic language and ideas, at present, reflect the social status and thoughts the moment. Between the traditional ink painting and contemporary ink although once be incompatible like water and fire, but a trend in fact in recent years, mutual learning and integration.
The Prajna Art Foundation sponsored "Chinese Contemporary Ink Painting Artists Invitation Exhibition", 5 artists invited, are influential in China Art of contemporary ink painting artists.
Qin Feng is the first contemporary art researcher of Harvard University, is also the first Chinese British Museum of contemporary ink painting artists. Most of his works with some metaphorical mystery, emerge in an endless stream of creative inspiration without pointing to the heart, his works can hardly see any representational figures, landscape and urban culture, which coincided with the theory of Zen – Point to people’s heart, Buddhahood upon en lightenment.
Wang Lifeng is one of the pioneer of contemporary Chinese art, his work is known for its comprehensive material, his recent works for the first time in the Chinese traditional rice paper as a painting material, rich classic splash of color techniques and contemporary art concepts give a person a kind of find everything fresh and new feeling.
Accumulation is the characteristics of Lv Peng's works in the most vivid language. His almost every piece of work, image to grasp living feelings of Chinese general, reflects the relationship between a game and funny, he thought the Chinese so-called culture, but some cultural fragments.
"Happy World" is the eternal theme of Liang Changsheng's creation, he uses Chinese traditional line drawing techniques for the world to build a conjecture of the mysterious world. He tried to find his own spiritual home in the numerous and complicated world, his work is fantastic, we show line drawing techniques of contemporary China's most sophisticated.
Different with many other artists, Li Daoliu is aware of the first to be bent to learn one of traditional art. In advocating the contemporary art for many years, he found that the contemporary art is close to the Western fact from your heart away, so he returned to the eastern tradition, then a get out of hand, have created a group of wealthy old and Zen works. His works often gives a solemn feeling, we can see behind from his works is blundering lively cultural memory we drift away from the deep.
