“以靈命愛中華——當代藝術巡迴展”將於2010年2月25日晚19：00在上海多倫現代美術館開幕。

此次展覽由浙江華福慈善基金會主辦，真光藝術協辦，北京798藝術區時態空間、上海多倫現代美術館承辦，清華大學美術學院教授、博士生導師島子先生策劃。

展覽旨在緬懷、紀念英籍教育家、傳教士塞繆爾•博格理和富能仁。本次紀念性巡迴展從2009年12月下旬開始，至2010年6月下旬，將分別於北京 798藝術區時態空間、上海多倫現代美術館、溫州與英國等地依次展出。作為此次巡展的第二站，上海站將全面呈現17位畫家、雕塑家、攝影師、音樂創作人遠赴貴州石門和雲南怒江地區采風後創作的220件作品。

1905年，英國傳教士塞繆爾•博格理一行聖徒在以貴州石門為中心的滇、黔烏蒙山區，創辦了近百所學校，培養了上萬名苗、彝族學生（其中兩名苗族博士、兩名彝族博士），為烏蒙山區的苗族人創制了苗文，並譯出苗文《聖經》，還為烏蒙山區的“父老鄉親”創建了足球場、游泳池、醫院、教堂、孤兒院、麻風病院……10年後，博格理為救治患傷寒的石門苗、彝、漢族學生，被感染病逝在那片荒涼、貧寒的高原上，年僅51歲。1908年，英國傳教士富能仁遠渡重洋，來到同樣是雲貴高原的雲南西部怒江傈僳族聚居區，為傈僳族人創制本族文字，建立教堂，創辦學校，培養了數千傈僳族人的孩子；並和塞繆爾•博格理一樣，為傈僳族人開辦了診所、醫院……但終因辛勞成疾，罹患腦瘧疾病逝在他的“第二故鄉”怒江傈僳族人部落，年僅52歲。

本次展覽由“讚美”、“種與收”、“佳美腳蹤”、“天路”、“靈命”、“霓虹”六個單元組成。將展示伯格裏、富能仁的傳教業績和相關的舊照片、生前用具、苗族、傈僳族屬靈的實物等。並播放伯格裏、富能仁的傳教事功為主要內容的影像紀錄片。以及十多位藝術家們跋山涉水深入烏蒙山、怒江等英國傳教士百年前建造的聖地，採訪苗族、傈僳族弟兄姊妹，考察當地的社會生活和生態環境，並潛心創作出的具有當代性的油畫、水墨、版畫、雕塑、攝影等藝術作品。

此次創作、展覽活動的宗旨和意義，在於用豐富、新穎、深刻的當代藝術作品表達深厚的存在於民族和歷史之中的大愛，發掘豐盛的歷史文化遺産，促進少數民族地區對外開放和文化進步。通過緬懷追思蒙恩的聖徒們愛上帝、愛中國、愛人如己的崇高精神，領受並擔當個體生命在世上“作鹽作光”之使命和道義，藉此充實當代藝術之價值涵義。

“Spiritual Love For China ：Cotemporary Roving Art Exhibition” will begin at Shanghai Duolun Museum of Modern Art at 19:00, 25 Feb. 2010.

This exhibition, planned by Tsinghua University professor Daozi, is sponsored by Zhejiang Huafu Charitable Foundation Co-organized by True Light Art and 798 Space.

It is an art touring exhibition to memory Palland , James Outram Fraser .It started from December 2009 to June 2010, touring in 798 Space Beijing, Shanghai Duolun MoMA, Wenzhou, as well as UK. As the second Station, exhibition in Shanghai will show 220 pieces works by 17 artists including painter, sculptor, photographer and music creator who traveled in Guizhou Shimen and Yunnan Nujiang.

In 1905, British missionary Pollard and his collages established nearly one hundred schools in Shimen area ,where Yuannan and Guizhou mountain area, and they established a wholly education series , cultivated nearly ten thousands students , these students includes Miao and Yi students ( among them include two Miao PH.D and two Yi PH.D), they also created Miao characters for Miao people in Wumen mountain area, and translated 《 Bible》in Miao character, they established hospital , church, school, orphanage , leprosarium , football court and swimming pool etc.

In 1908, Youthful British missionary James Outram Fraser travelled a long way to come to china, they came to Lisu in Yunnan and Guizhou plateau located in west of Yunnan, and created character for Lisu, also translated , established church and schools, and cultivated thousands of Lisu children, He established clinic for the local people just like Polland , he worked so hard that he was died of cerebral malaria in his “second home” in Lisu, he was buried in the pines trees in Baoshan , Yunnan, and the year he is just 52.

This exhibition includes six parts: “Hymns”, “Sow and Reap”, “Beautiful feet”, “The road to heaven”, “Spirit life” and “Rainbow” including oil paintings, ink paintings, sculptures, photograph and video which recording two missionaries.

This exhibition is an art touring exhibition to memory Palland , James Outram Fraser and their college , the content of the exhibition is full of rich , fresh and profound contemporary art works , we uses the original spiritual items chosen from Yunnan and Guizhou as part of our art works , these items and our art works were used together to demonstrate the stories which these British missionary, when we come to this we can know their holy heart , their loving heart and their truth to all people , they love God , love china , and love people in China, they love others just like love themselves ; These art works show the great spirit of our people who are be loved by God ;.they act as “as salt and light ” in the world; these art works bearing rich and profound contemporary art value..
