隋建國是中國最重要的當代藝術家之一，他的藝術實踐從學院現實主義傳統中汲取能量，並能不斷突破和超越傳統的制約。從塑造實物到討論物體的存現，從而建立情感表達的途徑，隋建國為中國的雕塑實踐開拓了一片新領域。

此次展覽，展出的不僅有隋建國早年的代表作，也有其近年新作，融合多種元素，將給觀眾呈現一個嶄新的、同時具有多種可能性的視覺空間。

Sui Jianguo is one of the most important contemporary artists, hisart practice absorbs energy from academic realism and breaks thetradition limits. From shaping the physical material to discussing theexistence of the abstraction, he sets up a new emotion expressionway, and expands a new field in Chinese sculpture practice.

Sui Jiangguo’s solo exhibition in Today Art Museum will display hisrepresentative works and also his new created works. This will be abrand-new exhibition with many elements and many possibilities.
